The Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) encompasses the PC and Smart Devices business, including PCs, tablets, augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), smart devices, software and services, and the Mobile business for smartphones. The second group is the Data Center Business Group (DCG), which includes servers, storage, networking, software and services.   • Mobile Business Group (MBG)

    Our mobile business under IDG posted its first worldwide profit in the past fiscal quarter (FY2018/19 Q3) since the Motorola acquisition. This notable achievement came from masterful execution on Lenovo’s strategy to reduce expenses, streamline product portfolio and focus on core markets. The Mobile Business Group (MBG) continues to gain new ground globally with the Motorola brand as it challenges industry convention and defines a new era of mobile innovation. Most recently, the company launched innovations like the new moto g7 family and moto z3 with the 5G moto mod, the world’s first 5G upgradeable smartphone.
